Ebbene anche se con qualche giorno di ritardo eccomi a scrivervi per ringraziarvi della partecipazione<\/strong> e soprattutto spiegarvi un po’ di cose che avverranno nei prossimi giorni.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Come annuncia il titolo di questo articolo, abbiamo chiuso la Call for Speaker il 14 Ottobre e siamo rimasti a bocca aperta<\/strong> dal numero di proposte che ci sono arrivate.<\/p>\n Sono state pi\u00f9 di 60!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n Come avevamo dichiarato all’interno della pagina dedicata alla call, prima di avviare l’organizzazione di questo evento ci eravamo gi\u00e0 interrogati sugli argomenti che ci sarebbe piaciuto trattare all’interno del nostro primo WordCamp Roma e alle quali avremmo dato precedenza.<\/p>\n Per non farti perdere il punto ripropongo questa lista con il numero di proposte che ci sono arrivate:<\/p>\n Dalla nostra idea iniziale le categorie si sono un po’ modificate e nei prossimi giorni procederemo alla selezione delle talk per offrirvi un evento il pi\u00f9 eterogeneo possibile che si svilupper\u00e0 nelle tre sale<\/strong> che l’Universit\u00e0 Roma Tre ci ha messo a disposizione nella facolt\u00e0 di Ingegneria Informatica<\/a>.<\/p>\n Come il Codice di Condotta<\/a> insegna, cercheremo di creare un’esperienza il pi\u00f9 inclusiva possibile cercando di bilanciare le quote rosa, incentivare la partecipazione della community locale e sprattutto presentare un numero equo di presentazioni in italiano ed inglese.<\/p>\n All’interno del meetup<\/a> andremo ad analizzare velocemente le varie proposte, ma per non togliere tempo agli abbracci e ai brindisi le talk verranno discusse nel dettaglio durante la quarta settimana di Ottobre.<\/p>\n Questo significa che gi\u00e0 nei primi giorni di Novembre<\/strong> inizieremo a contattare gli speaker che si sono proposti per allinearci sulla loro presentazione e saremo in grado di annunciare le prime batch di speaker dalla seconda settimana di Novembre.<\/p>\n Anche se non abbiamo ancora annunciato nessuno, questo non significa che non sia il caso di accaparrarsi un biglietto il prima possibile<\/a>. Anzi il mio consiglio \u00e8 proprio quello di prenderlo adesso<\/strong> perch\u00e9 stanno andando a ruba!<\/p>\n Sono proprio felice che vi state ponendo questa domanda!<\/p>\n Contribuire all’interno di un evento come il WordCamp \u00e8 un’esperienza che porta moltissimi benefici<\/strong>, sia personali che per la tua azienda.<\/p>\n Se vuoi partecipare attivamente ricordo che la Call for Volunteer<\/a> \u00e8 ancora aperta mentre se stai cercando un modo per sostenere questo evento puoi partecipare alla Call for Sponsor<\/a>.<\/p>\n Nel caso in cui i tier siano troppo alti per le tue finanze, magari hai gi\u00e0 chiuso la tua fiscalit\u00e0 annuale, puoi sempre partecipare come Microsponsor<\/a> acquistando il biglietto dedicato.<\/p>\n Che tu sia uno sponsor, uno speaker, un volontario o un semplice un appassionato WordPress: lascia che ti dica grazie per la tua passione!<\/strong><\/p>\n La community WordPress italiana non \u00e8 mai stata cos\u00ec attiva ed \u00e8 anche merito tuo se continuiamo a crescere e a prosperare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Non vedo l’ora di affrontare le fredde giornate di Dicembre con il calore che soltanto una community cos\u00ec unita sa fornire.<\/p>\n A presto!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Even if a little late, here we are to\u00a0thank you for your participation<\/strong>\u00a0and, most of all, to explain a little bit of what will happen in the next few days.<\/p>\n As the title anticipates, we closed the Call for Speaker on the 14th of October and\u00a0we were left speechless<\/strong>\u00a0by the number of proposals we received.<\/p>\n More than 60!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n As we had announced, we did question ourselves about the topics we would have liked to feature in our first WordCamp in Rome and the ones we wanted to give priority to.<\/p>\n Here’s a recap of the topic’s breakdown:<\/p>\n From our initial idea, the categories have changed some and in the next few days we will work on the selection of the talks aiming at offering the most heterogeneous \u00a0event possible in the three halls\u00a0<\/strong>that Universit\u00e0 Roma Tre has given us in the\u00a0Computer Engeneering<\/a>\u00a0department.<\/p>\n As per the \u00a0Code of Conduct<\/a>, we will aim at creating the most inclusive experience possible, by balancing the participation of female speakers, by stimulating the participation of the local community and mostly by having the opportune balance between talks given in Italian and English.<\/p>\n During our next meet up<\/a> we will rapidly look at the proposals, but to give it proper attention all talks will be evaluated in detail during the last week of October.<\/p>\n So by\u00a0the first week of November<\/strong>\u00a0we will begin contacting the speakers to get aligned on their talk and we’ll begin announcing the talks in the second week of November.<\/p>\n Speakers not having been announced yet is no excuse not to grab your tickets as soon as you can<\/a>.
