Forse l’hai gi\u00e0 sentito dire, ma vale la pena ripeterlo: i WordCamp sono eventi realizzati per<\/em> e dalla<\/em> community di WordPress, grazie alla partecipazione di decine di volontari. \u00c8 proprio per questo che cerchiamo te<\/strong>: \u00e8 arrivato il momento di compilare il form qui sotto ed entrare nella squadra del WordCamp Roma <\/strong>e nel cuore di un evento indimenticabile.   1. Se vuoi fare esperienza nel dietro le quinte di un evento<\/strong> e vedere da vicino tutta la macchina organizzativa del primo WordCamp Roma, unisciti a noi… ci sar\u00e0 da divertirsi!<\/li>\n
  2. Se vuoi conoscere pi\u00f9 da vicino i professionisti<\/strong> che ruotano intorno al mondo di WordPress e magari entrare nel gruppo che organizzer\u00e0 il prossimo WordCamp<\/strong>, fare il volontario \u00e8 un’ottima occasione per stringere nuove e stimolanti relazioni.<\/li>\n
  3. Partecipare a un WordCamp \u00e8 un’esperienza divertente, costruttiva, formativa, partecipare come volontari d\u00e0 ancora pi\u00f9 soddisfazione<\/strong>. Certo, forse alla fine saremo tutti molto stanchi, ma ci brinderemo su con un sorriso compiaciuto. \"\ud83c\udf7b\"<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Non ci credi? Ho le prove!<\/p>\n

    Alcune testimonianze da chi ha gi\u00e0 fatto questa esperienza… ed \u00e8 pronto a rifarla<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Michele<\/strong>, volontario al WordCamp Torino 2017<\/em><\/strong>, ci ha elencato i suoi buoni motivi per fare questa esperienza:<\/p>\n

    \u00abPerch\u00e9 \u00e8 un’esperienza bellissima<\/strong>, perch\u00e9 \u00e8 un modo di contribuire al progetto Open Source WordPress<\/strong>, perch\u00e9 ti permetter\u00e0 di conoscere tante gente e fare networking<\/strong>, per poi avviare il progetto che tieni rinchiuso nel cassetto, e sopratutto perch\u00e9 potrai sentirti parte di questa grande e fantastica community<\/strong>! I rapporti umani sono fantastici, puoi dialogare con gente che non hai mai visto nella tua vita come se la conoscessi da sempre. E poi: ogni scusa \u00e8 buona per viaggiare<\/strong>, conoscere nuove citt\u00e0 e nuove culture.<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n

    Antonino<\/strong>, che ha contribuito come volontario ai WordCamp di Torino e Milano<\/em><\/strong>, ci ha descritto cos\u00ec la sua esperienza:<\/p>\n

    \u00abLa mia esperienza come volontario \u00e8 stata particolarmente intensa. Mi sono sentito parte dell\u2019organizzazione<\/strong>, ho conosciuto persone fantastiche, ho svolto ruoli di responsabilit\u00e0, ma al tempo stesso super-supportato dall\u2019organizzazione che non ti fa pesare il fatto di non aver alcuna esperienza nel ruolo<\/strong> che ti \u00e8 stato prescelto e in automatico tutto va per il meglio, anche se non sai da che parte iniziare. Sempre voglioso di farlo e lo consiglierei a chiunque<\/strong>, soprattutto a chi ha pi\u00f9 paura! Non c\u2019\u00e8 nulla di cui preoccuparsi, ma solo tanto da imparare e soprattutto tanto da divertirsi. <\/em>\"\ud83d\ude42\"\u00bb<\/p>\n

    Abbiamo chiesto a Dario<\/strong>, che ha partecipa come organizzatore al WordCamp Milano<\/em><\/strong>, tre cose che ha imparato grazie al WordCamp:<\/p>\n

    \u00abSolo tre?<\/strong> La prima cosa che si impara e che quando sei insieme ad altri e hai un ruolo e un compito anche minimo che fa girare l’intero ingranaggio<\/strong>, devi avere l’umilt\u00e0 di chiedere e di svolgere anche attivit\u00e0 minime, rispettando opinioni, ruoli e tempi di ogni altra persona. La seconda \u00e8 che al primo posto c’\u00e8 sempre il risultato finale<\/strong>, ovvero fare riuscire bene un evento, e che per ottenere questo i dettagli contano moltissimo. La terza \u00e8 che spesso le cose pi\u00f9 divertenti, lo spirito pi\u00f9 genuino di eventi come questo si respirano e accadono dietro le quinte<\/strong>.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

    1. Wanna get some “behind the scene” experience on building an event<\/strong> and witness from the inside the organisation of the first WordCamp in Rome? Join us: it will be hugely fun!<\/li>\n

If you want to get to know some of the professionals<\/strong> that gravitate in the WordPress ecosystem and maybe become one of the organisers of the next<\/strong>  WordCamp<\/strong>, an experience as a volunteer it’s an excellent opportunity to meet new and possibly fruitful relationships.<\/li>\n
    3. Being part of a WordCamp is fun, productive, and formative a, participating as a volunteer is much more satisfying<\/strong>. Yes, we’ll likely be exhausted at the end, but we’ll have a chance to toast on it with much satisfaction. \ud83c\udf7b<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Some insights from people who have done this before… and are ready to do it again! <\/strong><\/h2>\n

      Michele<\/strong>, volunteer at WordCamp Torino 2017<\/em><\/strong>, recaps his good reasons to gain this experience:<\/p>\n

      \u00abBecause it’s <\/i>a beautiful experience<\/strong>, because it’s a way to <\/i>contribute to the Open Source WordPress project<\/strong>, because you’ll get to meet a lot of people and <\/i>network.<\/strong> You may even get the inspiration you need to get that project out of the drawer. And, mostly, to <\/i>feel part of this huge and amazing Community<\/strong>! The human interactions are exceptional: you can talk to people you’ve never met as if you’ve known each other forever. Plus: <\/i>any excuse to travel is excellent <\/i><\/strong>as it gives you the opportunity to see new cities and meet new cultures.<\/i>\u00bb<\/p>\n

      Antonino<\/strong>, who has volunteered at WordCamps in Torino and Milano<\/em><\/strong>, so describes it:<\/p>\n

      \u00abMy experience as a volunteer has been particularly intense. <\/i>I felt part of the organisation<\/i><\/strong>, I met fabulous people and held roles with a degree of responsibility, but at the same time I felt <\/i>super-supported by the organisers that made me feel comfortable about my lack of experience<\/i><\/strong> in the roles I was assigned, so that everything just flew very smoothly. I always try and become involved if I have the chance and I would <\/i>highly recommend it<\/i><\/strong>, especially to those feeling shy or fearful! There is nothing to worry about, only a lot of things to learn and a lot of fun to enjoy. <\/i>\ud83d\ude42\u00bb<\/p>\n

      Finally, we asked Dario<\/strong>, who is one of the organisers of WordCamp Milano<\/em><\/strong>, three things he’s learned from this experience:<\/p>\n

      \u00ab<\/i>Only three?<\/strong> The first thing you learn is that when you are with other people and you have a role and an assignment – albeit minimal – <\/i>that keeps the cogs turning<\/strong>, you have to remain humble and take care of even the smallest details, respecting the opinions, the roles and the time of all other people. The second is that <\/i>the top priority is the final outcome<\/strong>, and that is the success of the event, and that to do that the details are extremely important. The third is that often <\/i>the most fun, the true spirit of these kinds of events happen behind the curtains and it’s from the inside that you can get the most of them<\/i><\/strong>.\u00bb<\/i><\/p>\n
