Cosa ci aspettiamo da questo #meta-meetup dal vivo<\/h2>\n
Da questo incontro dovr\u00e0 nascere per forza di cose un dialogo propositivo e uno scambio di idee<\/strong> su come portare avanti gli incontri e su come mantenere viva l’attenzione e l’affezione nei meetup.<\/p>\n Importantissimo sar\u00e0 ribadire lo spirito con cui nasce un meetup WordPress e con il quale, si spera, viene portato avanti nel tempo.<\/p>\n Ci aspettiamo che organizer e avventori mettano al centro del tavolo i problemi pi\u00f9 comuni che riscontrano nelle loro realt\u00e0 locali. Ovviamente, di contro, chi avr\u00e0 gi\u00e0 affrontato tali problematiche sar\u00e0 invitato ad esporre le possibili soluzioni\/metodologie adottate.<\/p>\n Non vogliamo assolutamente creare un tavolo “alternativo” durante il contributor day quindi questa attivit\u00e0 sar\u00e0 completamente trasparente e tutti saranno invitati a partecipare.<\/p>\n Verr\u00e0 ritagliato uno spazio temporale apposito al tavolo dedicato alla community che preveder\u00e0 una introduzione ai principi e alle policies della community da parte di Francesca Marano. Il #meta-meetup sar\u00e0 poi diretto e introdotto da Giulia che ci presenter\u00e0 tutti gli organizer presenti e che favorir\u00e0 lo scambio di idee lanciando alcuni temi trasversali per iniziare a discutere.<\/p>\n Per farvi capire la portata dell’iniziativa vi rimando alla pagina dedicata ai meetup<\/a> che attualmente conta 26 citt\u00e0 in Italia<\/strong> con un WordPress Meetup!<\/p>\n Iniziamo da oggi a coordinarci sul canale #meta-meetup di Slack: vieni a dire la tua, facci sapere se l\u2019idea ti piace e se sarai dei nostri.<\/p>\n L\u2019invito \u00e8 aperto a tutti<\/strong>, organizzatori di meetup e partecipanti: vieni al Contributor Day del WordCamp Roma!<\/p>\n Puoi acquistare il tuo biglietto qui<\/a><\/p>\n Sperando di vedervi tutti al WordCamp Roma e di poter piantare qualche pilone di questo ponte, sono felicissimo di lanciare la prima (nella storia di WordPress) Call for meta-metuppers.<\/p>\n Che il codice, la poesia e la community vi possano condurre a Roma il 15 Dicembre!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We’ve been wanting to meet some other brave organisers for a while now, people that like us manage and promote local Meetups of the Italian WordPress Community. But, despite the long-standing effort, we were never able to find a place ad a time to get everyone together.<\/p>\n This year, though, my adored city, Rome, will finally have her own WordCamp – and, contextually, her own Contributor Day, the day every WordCamps dedicates to building and contributing directly to the platform and the Community.<\/p>\n So what better opportunity, for us, to accomplish our goal: organising a live meta-meetup?<\/p>\n We started by analysing what daily happens in the Italian Community and on the Italian Slack team. So we realised that we alone could not bear the effort to call and organise so many people from so many different places: the energies required from the organisers goes beyond the love and the passion we feel for the Community.<\/p>\n We needed the support of someone who\u00a0knew all the key characters, and that had its fingers on the pulse of the evolution of the Italian WordPress Community.<\/p>\n So we got Giulia Tosato involved! Giulia is responsible for the #meta-meetup channel on the Italian Slack, keeps contact with all Meetup organisers in Italy, and dutifully reports – through the \u00a0Rosetta<\/a> site – all news, updates and activities of the Italian WordPress Community directly in our dashboards!<\/p>\n We expect that, from such a meeting,\u00a0a constructive dialog and\u00a0change of ideas <\/strong>is simply inevitable! Especially on topics such as properly and opportunely holding meetings, or maintaining attention, support and affection towards the Meetups.\u00a0Furthering the notion of how a Meetup is born and what spirit animates – and sustains – it, will also be a vital topic.<\/p>\n We expect that organisers and participants will bring forth the most common issues they perceive locally, and, obviously, those who have confronted and overcome them, will be invited to share their solutions.<\/p>\n We have no intention of creating an “alternative” table during the Contributor Day, so this activity will be fully transparent and all parties invited to join.<\/p>\n A dedicated time slot will be created within the Community table: Francesca Marano will introduce the principles and the policies of the Community, and then Giulia will hold the\u00a0#meta-meetup, introducing all the organisers attending, triggering the discussion, and facilitating the exchange of ideas.<\/p>\n To better understand the span of the iniziative, please refer to the Meetup dedicated page<\/a> : there are currently\u00a026 Italian cities <\/strong>that\u00a0<\/b>hold <\/b>WordPress Meetups!<\/p>\n We are starting this conversation today on the #meta-meetup Slack channel : come share your view, let us know if you like the idea and if you will be part of it.<\/p>\nCome partecipare <\/b><\/h2>\n
