Nando Pappalardo
Tra gli imprenditori di maggiore successo nell’ecosistema WordPress, è stato uno dei primi italiani a imporsi sul mercato internazionale con prodotti di top selling. Fondatore di Your Inspiration Web, famosa community italiana dedicata al mondo del Web Design, oggi è CEO di YITH, un’azienda focalizzata nello sviluppo e commercializzazione di plugin per WooCommerce.

Ad un certo punto della sua vita un netto cambio di visione gli ha permesso di vedere il mondo del lavoro in modo differente. Questa nuova visione gli ha consentito in poco tempo di creare dei sistemi intelligenti che oggi fanno lavorare il denaro per lui.
Alessandro Canepa
Alessandro è attualmente digital marketing manager di Kena Mobile per Noverca (Telecom Italia). È responsabile dello sviluppo della strategia digitale, definendo le esperienze di digital touchpoint con particolare attenzione verso l’e-commerce, l’assistenza clienti, l’online strategy, il tracciamento dell’attività e l’ottimizzazione e il tracciamento delle campagne digitali.
Coordina anche i team IT e design sviluppando e implementando nuove feature, funzionalità e design. Il suo progetto negli ultimi due anni è stato scegliere WordPress come piattaforma web principale e scalarla per supportare un grande volume di traffico.
In Telecom Italia Alessandro gestiva il Digital Experience Design per i canali corporate del Gruppo e prima ancora si occupava della comunicazione digitale per TIN.it, il provider di servizi internet di Telecom.
Il suo primo progetto digitale è stato il lancio di uno dei più importanti quotidiani online italiani, repubblica.it, il quale ha richiesto lo sviluppo di un CMS che ancora non esisteva e l’implementazione di processi automatizzati per la pubblicazione del contenuto del giornale.

Quando una grande azienda decide di adottare WordPress come piattaforma web principale, la sfida diventa trovare il modo di padroneggiare, scalare ed ottimizzare WordPress per supportare grandi picchi di traffico.
In questo talk Alessandro condividerà i problemi incontrati, le soluzioni concepite, e i risultati di due anni di successivo utilizzo di WordPress per gestire il sito di un operatore mobile.

Kruti Dugade
Kruti ha lavorato in Capgemini come sviluppatore Java e tester per Windchill, prodotto utilizzato per la gestione del ciclo di vita del prodotto (PLM). È passata a WordPress dopo aver partecipato a WCMUMBAI 2017. WordPress le ha dato l’ispirazione a contribuire, per questo fa parte del gruppo Polyglot per la lingua Marathi.
Attualmente lavora come Happiness Engineer per Automattic. Il suo lavoro consiste nell’aiutare i nostri utenti a superare le difficoltà che incontrano con i loro siti e progettare la loro felicità.
Le piace partecipare ai WordCamp per incontrare persone ed ascoltare le loro esperienze.

Alessandro Canepa
Alessandro currently manages Digital Marketing of the Kena Mobile brand in Noverca (Telecom Italia Group).
He is responsible for developing digital experience strategy, defining digital touchpoint experiences with particular focus on e-commerce and customer support, online strategy, tracking activities, and optimizing and tracking digital campaigns.
He also coordinates the IT and Design Teams in developing and deploying redesigns, new features and functionalities.
Choosing WordPress as the main web platform and finding a way to scale to support a large amount of traffic has been one of the undertaking of the last couple of years.
Prior to his role in Telecom Italia, Alessandro managed Digital Experience Design for the Group’s corporate channels and before this he managed digital communications in TIN.it which was Telecom Italia’s internet service provider.
His first online digital project was the launch of the largest Italian online newspaper, Repubblica.it, which required developing a web CMS (since none existed) and implementing automated processes to deliver newspaper content online.

Kruti Dugade
Kruti worked with Capgemini as Java developer and tester for Windchill product used for Product Lifecycle Management. She switched to WordPress after attending WCMUMBAI 2017. WordPress inspired her to contribute and since then she’s a Polyglot for Marathi locale.
Currently, she works for Automattic as Happiness Engineer. Her job is to help their users with the difficulties they face with their site and engineer happiness for them.
She likes to attend WordCamps as she gets to meet people and be the audience to their experiences.
