{"id":149,"date":"2017-06-21T13:49:06","date_gmt":"2017-06-21T13:49:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2017.rome.wordcamp.org\/?page_id=145"},"modified":"2018-09-02T10:07:09","modified_gmt":"2018-09-02T10:07:09","slug":"volunteer","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/rome.wordcamp.org\/2018\/volunteer\/","title":{"rendered":"Call For Volunteers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em class=\"lang\">Italian text is followed by\u00a0English<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"ita\"><span lang=\"it\">Vuoi essere coinvolto attivamente nel <strong>WordCamp Rome 2018<\/strong>?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"it\">Abbiamo bisogno di pi\u00f9 persone nel nostro equipaggio e stiamo cercando volontari per l&#8217;organizzazione della conferenza e del <em>contributor day<\/em>.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Perch\u00e9 fare il volontario?<\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"it\"><strong>Perch\u00e9 i volontari sono fondamentali per la buona riuscita di un WordCamp. <\/strong>Sarai schierato\/a sul campo per incontrare e aiutare tutti i partecipanti e per far s\u00ec che tutto\u00a0fili liscio in questa edizione del WordCamp Roma!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"it\">Se ami WordPress, se sei entusiasta, energico\/a, organizzato\/a e desideri entrare a far parte di una squadra affiatata di persone come te non devi far altro che leggere le informazioni che seguono e\u00a0<strong>candidarti compilando il modulo in fondo alla pagina<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"come-volontario-avrai-queste-ed-altre-possibilit-\">Come volontario avrai queste ed altre possibilit\u00e0:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>essere\u00a0<strong>parte essenziale del team<\/strong>\u00a0durante il giorno dell\u2019evento;<\/li>\n<li>conoscere e stringere\u00a0<strong>relazioni<\/strong>\u00a0con tante persone come te, che vogliono contribuire alla realizzazione di questo evento;<\/li>\n<li>incontrare e fare\u00a0<strong>networking<\/strong>\u00a0con partecipanti e relatori, provenienti dall\u2019Italia e dall\u2019estero.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"in-che-cosa-avete-bisogno-di-aiuto-\">In che cosa abbiamo bisogno di aiuto?<\/h2>\n<p>Abbiamo bisogno di volontari sul campo e con le mani in pasta il giorno dell\u2019evento.\u00a0<strong>Aspettati di arrivare a sera esausto ed euforico!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I ruoli saranno definiti meglio in prossimit\u00e0 dell\u2019evento, ma per darti un\u2019idea queste sono alcune delle attivit\u00e0 che potremmo chiederti di fare:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Occuparti della <strong>registrazione e accoglienza<\/strong> dei partecipanti; e distribuire <em>swag<\/em> e t-shirt;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Presidiare la Green Room<\/strong>,\u00a0ovvero una stanza dedicata ai volontari\/organizzatori e speaker,\u00a0per mantenere il silenzio e l\u2019accesso riservato;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Occuparti della sala<\/strong> e dello svolgimento dei <em>talk<\/em> al suo interno, <strong>presentare i relatori<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>segnalare<\/strong> <strong>loro le<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>tempistiche<\/strong>\u00a0perch\u00e9 rispettino i tempi prestabiliti;\u00a0\u00a0o anche solo di <strong>portare in giro il microfono<\/strong>, durante i <em>talk<\/em>;<\/li>\n<li>Fare\u00a0<strong>live su Twitter e Facebook<\/strong>\u00a0durante la conferenza<\/li>\n<li>Se sei un\u00a0<strong>fotografo\/a<\/strong>\u00a0puoi venire con la tua attrezzatura: il compito sar\u00e0 quello di immortalare i vari momenti del WordCamp e soprattutto il suo spirito, producendo del materiale fotografico utilizzabile anche a scopi promozionali.<\/li>\n<li>Dare informazioni, indirizzare e orientare relatori e visitatori nella venue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Mi pagate o fate un rimborso spese?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>No.<\/strong>\u00a0I WordCamp sono eventi fatti da volontari, quindi come regola, in tutto il mondo, non sono previste coperture di spese.<br \/>\nSar\u00e0 tua cura coprire i costi di viaggio e permanenza\u00a0a Roma.<br \/>\nSe sarai accettato come volontario avrai accesso gratuito per entrambi i giorni, pranzi inclusi.<br \/>\n<strong>Fare volontariato al WordCamp Roma \u00e8 un modo unico per contribuire e sostenere l\u2019evento e la comunit\u00e0 di WordPress.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"che-cosa-devo-aspettarmi-\">Che cosa devo aspettarmi?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Di divertirti, anzitutto!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Una volta che sarai accettato come volontario al WordCamp Roma 2018, sarai aggregato al team dei volontari in funzione di ci\u00f2 che sai fare e\u00a0<strong>ti saranno assegnati vari compiti da portare avanti prima e durante l\u2019evento.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>NB: ci piacerebbe accettare tutti, ma non possiamo! Quindi se non avrai una conferma, non averne a male: ci saranno tantissime altre occasioni per contribuire a WordPress!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Prima dell\u2019evento, l\u2019intero team si incontrer\u00e0 per parlare della gestione del WordCamp, potrai visitare la sede e dare una mano alla prima organizzazione.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Il giorno del WordCamp, il 15 Settembre, lavoreremo tutti assieme come parte di una squadra che ci auguriamo possa funzionare come un orologio.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ci incontreremo il 14 Settembre<\/strong>, il giorno del Contributor Day. Conoscerai l\u2019intero team, parleremo dei compiti assegnati a ciascuno, vedremo insieme la sede e potrai dare una mano alla prima organizzazione.<\/p>\n<p><em>Hey, dopo l\u2019evento c\u2019\u00e8\u00a0<strong>l\u2019After Party<\/strong>, non vorrai mica andare via subito?<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ti-inteessa-aiutarci-\">Ti interessa aiutarci?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Non vediamo l\u2019ora di averti nella squadra!\u00a0<\/strong>Compila il modulo in fondo alla pagina e<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>ricorda che<strong> la call scade il 1 Settembre!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Vuoi entrare subito nello spirito giusto? Sar\u00e0 anche il nostro principale canale di comunicazione e coordinamento durante il WordCamp.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Tutti i volontari avranno diritto all\u2019ingresso gratuito al WordCamp, quindi se ti candidi non procedere con l\u2019acquisto del biglietto!<br \/>\nSe non sarai scelto tra i volontari, ma decidessi comunque di venire (ovvio che vieni!) non preoccuparti di restare senza biglietto, ne metteremo in vendita altri!<\/em><br \/>\n<a name=\"form\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Tutte le informazioni vengono raccolte al solo scopo di mantenere una comunicazione pi\u00f9 efficace tra gli organizzatori del team WordCamp Roma e i volontari.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>LA CALL \u00c8 CHIUSA<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"eng\">Would you like to get involved in the\u00a0<strong>WordCamp Rome 2018<\/strong>?<\/p>\n<p>We need more people on our crew and we\u2019re looking for volunteers in order to help with the organization of the conference and contributor day.<\/p>\n<p>You will be on the ground meeting and helping attendees, and making sure this first\u00a0<strong>WordCamp Rome<\/strong>\u00a0will be a smooth ride.<\/p>\n<p>If you love WordPress and you are enthusiastic, energetic, organized and would like to be a part of our crew,\u00a0<strong>apply clicking on the button at the bottom of this page.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"as-a-voluteeer-you-will-\">As a volunteer you will:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>be an\u00a0<strong>essential part of the team<\/strong>\u00a0during the event;<\/li>\n<li><strong>meet a lot of people like you<\/strong>, who would like to contribute to this great event;<\/li>\n<li><strong>have the chance to talk with attendees and speakers<\/strong>\u00a0coming from all over the Italy and abroad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How do we need help?<\/h3>\n<p>We need volunteers during the event days.\u00a0<b>Expect to be exhausted and elated at the same time at the end of the WordCamp!<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Volunteers\u00a0tasks will be defined before\u00a0the opening of the event.\u00a0<strong>These are some of the activities<\/strong>\u00a0we might\u00a0ask you to run:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration and reception;<\/li>\n<li>Swag and t-shirts distribution;<\/li>\n<li>Help during lunch and coffee breaks;<\/li>\n<li>Helping speakers;<\/li>\n<li>Run around with the microphone during sessions;<\/li>\n<li>Help with moving people and give information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"nav-above\" class=\"navigation\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"post-6\" class=\"post-6 post type-post status-publish format-standard hentry category-volontari\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<h3>Will you pay me or will I get a refund?<\/h3>\n<p>WordCamps are made by volunteers, so as a rule in the world, expenses are not covered from the organization. If you want to get involved, you have to cover the costs of travel and accommodation\u00a0in Rome.<br \/>\nIf you are accepted as a volunteer you will have free access to the event and lunch\/coffee breaks on both days.<br \/>\n<b>Volunteering at WordCamp Rome is a unique way to help and support the event and the WordPress community.<\/b><\/p>\n<h3>What should I expect?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>To have fun, first of all!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We let you know as soon as possible if you will be in our team.<br \/>\n<em>We\u2019d love to accept you all, but we can\u2019t! So if we will say no to you, don\u2019t be sad: there will be a lot of chances to contribute to WordPress in many other ways!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>We will meet up on September 14th, the day before the conference<\/strong>, during the Contributor Day.
